Dr. Bryant began her full time real estate career in 2004, when she started The Real Estate House in Kansas City. Her first national account was with Freddie Mac and she quickly became a Master Listing Broker. After achieving Realtor of the Year, Dr. Bryant became the first African American President of the Multiple Listing Service.
Dr. Bryant has closed more than 2,000 real estate transactions and maintains successful businesses including two real estate schools and projects working with developers, investors, and agents.
Dr. Bryant works diligently to promote home ownership daily. Growing up in the Bronx, Tameka’s parents didn’t own their home and were lifetime renters. She made a promise to herself that she would one day own her home and provide her children with the opportunities not afforded to her. She did more than that. She made it her life’s work to help others understand the importance of owning their home and building wealth.
Over the years, along with her service, Tameka has been a member of the following organizations: American Business Women’s Association, Kansas Association of Realtors, National Association of Women Business Owners, Greater Kansas City and Olathe Chamber of Commerce and Women in Public Policy to name a few.
Dr. Bryant has been featured in several publications including Black Enterprise and has published books on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Kindle. She is an educator and has a real passion for educating young adults. Since her first day, as an adjunct professor in New York, she has never given up her passion to teach others and make a real difference.
In addition to her managing her real estate businesses, she continues to invest herself. With properties in 5 states she stays on the go and stays ready for the next opportunity. As an investor herself, she understands what it takes to maintain and develop productive portfolios and is passionate about helping others do the same.
Tameka is married to Jeffrey and has two children, Kiane and Kyle.
